Hello,

I am starting a GoFundMe for one of the nurses I work with, Adriana De Leon. She was recently on a Disney cruise vacation with her son (5 years of age), mother, and fiancé. A tragic emergency occurred and her son started not to feel well. He soon became unresponsive. The cruise ship explained he had gone septic and drips were started to keep his pressures up enough to be transferred. They had to be airlifted to the island Nassau in the Bahamas by the US Coast Guard. Her fiancé and mother had to stay behind on the ship, as they only let the mother accompany her son. Once stable enough, he was airlifted to Miami Medical Center and then transferred to Jackson Hospital in Miami. He is currently fighting in the PICU, streptococcus toxic shock syndrome. She is standing strong at her son's bedside, while her family is waiting to accompany them. Aside from the pain she is enduring, she unfortunately has a lot of medical bills piling up.
