Me and my brother Jalen were victims of a senseless act of violence. I was stabbed 14 times, resulting in a collapsed lung and a damaged kidney, and was left for dead. My brother Jalen was murdered.

We were two young men targeted by at least 10 individuals nearly twice our age, for absolutely no reason.

In the wake of this tragedy, I am now taking responsibility for my brother’s home and doing everything I can to step into a fatherly role for his four children. Due to the severity of my injuries, I will be unable to work for some time, and there is still so much happening behind the scenes before life can begin to feel even remotely normal again for me and my family.
