I’m Tiffany Robinson, a mother standing up not only for my daughter, Riley, who has special educational needs—but for every SEND family who’s ever felt ignored, blamed, or pushed aside by the very systems meant to support them.

In April 2025, I was banned from my daughter’s primary school without a clear explanation or evidence. I was excluded from her education, her daily life, and even key events—simply for raising concerns about her SEND provision, safeguarding, and inclusion. My attempts to communicate respectfully were met with silence, vague policies, and shifting justifications. No real answers—just doors closing.

This isn’t just about one incident. It’s about a culture where parents of SEND children are penalised for speaking up. Too often, we’re labelled “difficult” for advocating for our children’s basic rights. We’re made to feel like the problem—when the real issue is a lack of accountability, transparency, and proper SEND support.
