Standing Together with Dallas, Alex, Finley, and Ren
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
We are reaching out to you today with a heavy heart on behalf of a beautiful family who needs our collective love and support right now: Dallas, Alex, Finley, and Ren.
Recently, this wonderful family received devastating news. Early this last week Finley was diagnosed with DIPG. DIPG is an inoperable brain tumor and due to the location, it is very hard to treat. Currently, Dr. Meeker and his team at St. Lukes are working tirelessly on a care plan for Finley. This includes putting together a profile of information to present to the national board August 20th. With the information given, they will then hopefully be able to find more extensive treatment programs to better suit his diagnosis. Hearing these words has turned their world upside down. Anyone who knows Dallas, Alex, Finley, and Ren knows how deeply they care for one another and how much light they bring to everyone around them. Now, it is our turn to surround this entire family with that same strength and support.
Because the tumor is inoperable, the medical team is focusing on intensive treatments to manage the illness, target the cells, and maintain Finley's quality of life. This requires continuous specialized care, regular hospital visits, and strict symptom.
While they face this reality with unimaginable grace and strength, the financial impact of this diagnosis on the whole household is immense. We want to ensure that mounting bills are the absolute last thing on their minds right now.
We have set a fundraising goal of $100,000 to help cover:
• Advanced treatments, targeted therapies, and second opinions from neuro-specialists.
• Daily living expenses, utilities, and housing costs to keep the household stable.
• Specialized home care, comfort management, and necessary medical equipment.
• Travel expenses, parking, and gas for frequent trips to the clinic.
Our highest priority is to ensure Finley is comfortable and receives the best possible care, while allowing Dallas, Alex, and Ren the financial breathing room to focus entirely on being present, supportive, and spending meaningful quality time together as a family.
Please note that Dallas will not be returning to work and Alex will be taking an extended period of time off. Please respect their need for privacy as they focus all of their energy on Finley and their family. We will do our best to share important milestones here on their behalf.
Asking for financial help is never easy, but they cannot do this alone. Any contribution, no matter the size, will directly ease this heavy burden. If you are unable to donate, we completely understand and simply ask that you please click the Share button to pass this page along to your own network. We hope you will consider joining us for a compassion and awareness event to be held on August 9th at noon at The Frontier Club, 116 E. Broadway, Meridian, ID.
There will be live music on the patio, and our own Vijay will be emceeing the event. Food/snacks are welcome!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your compassion, generosity, and love during this incredibly challenging time.
With love and gratitude,
The Frontier family
