For those of you who know me, you know I am usually the one listening and showing up whenever someone else is in need. Whether it's a late-night call or text or a shoulder to lean on, I have always tried to put others first. Now, I am facing a health battle that requires me to ask for that same level of support in return.
Recently, I was diagnosed with moderate to severe Ulcerative Colitis. This condition has become debilitating, making it nearly impossible for me to work or manage daily tasks. Beyond the physical pain. living with the constant flare-ups while managing an anxiety disorder has taken an immense mental toll. The stress of mounting medical bills only feeds into the ever-growing cycle, making it difficult to find the calm I need in order to truly heal. I had spent both Christmas and my 31st birthday last year in the hospital, and I really do not want the same outcome for this year, or for it to get even worse.
The next critical step for me in a colonoscopy and specialized treatments following the procedure. I am raising funds to help cover:
- Out-of-pocket costs for the colonoscopy and specialist visits, and
- Essential living expenses while I am unable to work.
Thank you for your kindness and for standing by me, you are so loved. Let's get through this together.
