I am humbled even as I write this, and I am beyond grateful to those that have already helps and to those the will donate now or in the next month. One of the most difficult parts of my breast cancer diagnosis is being out of work for so long. My December paycheck was only about 1/3 of my normal pay (I am out of sick leave and have to pay my sub $250 a day out of my check) and disability is only paying me $640 a month. The Lord is teaching me that it is ok to ask for help and lean on others. That is why He gives us others who love and are willing to help care for us. I am blessed knowing all of my December bills have been paid by the help of others, but also know that in Jan. and Feb. I will need help. Now that I need daily radiation I will be out of work at least another month. I really want to return to work, but my body is not ready. In addition both of my kids are going through challenges of their own, and we have not been able to help them out financially. They are doing everything they can, but it hurts my heart that I can't help them. Kathlynn is living in a place with black mold because the landlord will not pay for a place for her to stay. James can not attend college next semester because he has a past due balance. He is working two part time jobs. Thank you if you can help in any way even if it's just an extra prayer. Love to you all.
