If you know our family, you know that the Damonte family values run deep to our core. They are the foundation of who we are and have been passed down through generations with unwavering love, strength, and commitment from our Nonni and Nonno. We have always believed in putting family first, standing together through life's greatest joys and toughest challenges, and never allowing anyone to face hardship alone.

No family ever imagines having to ask for help like this but my sister is in the fight of her life—not for money, not for possessions, but for the chance to continue raising her son in the home, community, and family that have surrounded him with love since the day he was born.

Like many families, we believed we could shoulder this burden ourselves. As this case has continued, our family has exhausted every financial resource available to us. What began as a difficult legal battle has become an overwhelming financial burden. The reality is that family court cases often require significant resources to see them through, and the costs have quickly become more than one family can bear alone. We have emptied savings accounts, sacrificed vacations, postponed plans, and exhausted every financial resource available to us to make sure that we are able to advocate for AJ and his future. We never wanted to ask for help, but it has reached a point where continuing this fight depends on having the resources to do so.

My sister isn’t asking for a handout—but on behalf of her I am asking our friends and family to help allow her for the opportunity to continue fighting for her son. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps cover attorney fees, court costs, and the ongoing legal expenses necessary to continue advocating for what we believe is in AJ's best interest. Too often, these cases become a battle of endurance. The emotional toll is immense, but so is the financial one. Every court hearing, every filing, and every hour of legal representation comes at a cost. AJ's future should not be determined by which side can simply afford to keep going.
