United We Stand: In Memory of the Al-Khawas Family

Following the heartbreaking tragedy that claimed the lives of Hussam Al-Khawas, his wife Zeina Alyan, and their two daughters, Sarah and Saja, our community has been shaken to its core. In a single moment, an entire household was lost at sea, leaving behind two surviving young children who suddenly find themselves without their loving parents.

This initiative is an independent, community-driven effort. When an unimaginable tragedy strikes our community, we do not wait for grieving families to ask for help—our duty is to step forward and ask: "What can we do to support them?"

Where Your Support Goes:

* Repatriation and formal funeral arrangements to lay the family to rest in Lebanon.

* Immediate and ongoing welfare, care, and educational support for the two surviving children.

Transparency & Trust:

* Beneficiary / Organizer: Funds will go directly to the Al-Khawas family account (represented by Amani Al-Khawas), who will manage the allocations for the family's welfare, the care of the surviving children, and all related arrangements.

* Goal: Our initial target is £20,000, with every single pound dedicated to alleviating the financial burden and securing the children's future.

‎مبادرة وفاء وتكافل: في وداع عائلة الخواص

‎في أعقاب الفاجعة الأليمة التي ألمّت بعائلة المرحوم حسام الخواص، وزوجته زينة عليان، وابنتيهما سارة وسجى، الذين قضوا غرقًا في البحر، شعرنا جميعًا بثقل هذا المصاب والمسؤولية الإنسانية تجاه طفلين صغيرين فقدا والديهما في لحظة واحدة وأصبحا بحاجة إلى الرعاية والسند.

‎هذه الحملة مبادرة مجتمعية خالصة انطلقت دون انتظار طلب من أصحاب المصاب، إيمانًا منا بأن الواجب يقتضي المبادرة والوقوف مع أهلنا في أحلك الظروف.

‎أوجه الدعم واستخدام التبرعات:

* تغطية تكاليف تجهيز الجثامين واستكمال الإجراءات الرسمية لنقلهم ودفنهم في لبنان.

* تأمين الرعاية الشاملة واحتياجات المعيشة والتعليم للطفلين الناجيين في مرحلتهما القادمة.

‎الشفافية وإدارة التبرعات:

* ستدخل التبرعات مباشرة وفق ضوابط المنصة والأنظمة في المملكة المتحدة إلى حساب عائلة الخواص (عنهم أماني الخواص)، لمتابعة شؤون الأسرة ورعاية الطفلين واستكمال كافة الإجراءات المرتبطة بهذه الفاجعة.

* الهدف المبدئي للحملة هو 20,000 باوند، ويسهم كل تبرع أو مشاركة للرابط في تخفيف هذا العبء الكبير.
