“Standing Together for Coach D”

Hello my name is Shynesha Dublin the eldest daughter of Darian Dublin a.k.a. “Coach D”.

I am fundraising for help and support with medical endeavors he’s now having to face. Recently he has been diagnosed with the most aggressive form of Glaucoma. Coach D is a “True Legend” when it comes to basketball. He has brought many children up to be champions and inspire so many more! Glaucoma along with Diabetes works quickly and quietly to destroy eye vessels, causing immediate blindness. Which has taken Coach away from the game and helping so many kids become great athletes. Year after year, starting out young to watching them WIN all the way through to College. Coach D has More than 30+ yrs of Dedication and loved coaching kids of all ages!

Normal eye pressures are 10 through 21. His pressures were 72 and 52, leading to total darkness over the last six weeks. His vision has not allowed him to work, leaving only one income. His eyes are completely filled with Blood, Fluid, Pressure, and Cataracs. It was determined that surgery was needed to quickly install a tube inside of the eye to drain the fluid that’s causing the unbearable pressure buildup. However, immediately after the right eyes surgery the left eye began the same journey, requiring another immediate surgery. He’s been back and forth from doctors to hospitals all while in pain. Suffering while trying to find a solution.

Currently, a third surgery is needed to perform a Laser procedure to remove growing blood vessels, standing blood, and Cataracs from the eyes. The cost of just this surgery will range about 5K. With that being said bills have started to pile and his wife’s income will not hold much longer doing this Alone. Considering procedures, doctors visits, bills and recovery time help is needed. So I’m asking all to stand together with me and lets..
