Standing Strong with Riley

Hi my name is Debbie Jackson and am Riley Doering aunt. Riley is 32 years and is the loving Husband to Jessica and the father of 2 beautiful children Kaydon and Brimley. As I write this my heart is breaking and this gofund me page is all I can do for them at the moment.

On May 21st is a day will never be forgotten for Riley and his family, it was the day that their lives turned upside down for this young family and for everyone that loves them. It was the day the we found out that Riley has Liposaroma. No one is ever prepared for receiving a diagnoses such as this but when it is given to such a young person with so many thing's in life to look forward, it hard to understand why these things happen. Despite trying to be to brave, Riley and his wife are shocked and frightened of what the future holds.

The tumor 35-40 pounds and is in his abdomen which is pushing his internal organs into his ribcage.

On May 31st Riley and his Jessica met with the surgeon and was confirmed that surgery will be on June16th. The surgery will be 4 hour intensive surgery. He potentially could lose his kidney,belly button, testicle and part of his intestine. He will be in hospital for 7 to 10 days and will have a long road of recovery. We will know more after the surgery is done.

Riley has touched the hearts of so many people He is always there to give you a helping hand and do whatever he can to help. His heart is so big but the smile he gives is even bigger.

Riley is self-employed and has been unable to work this last while. After surgery Riley will be unable to return to his previous work for several months while he recovers at home with his family. By helping with donations it will relieve the financial stress of him and Jessica. It will help them to attend Dr appointments, travel back and forth to the hospital for his wife to be with him, and it will also help his family after he gets out of the hospital such as everyday living expenses and bills that need to be paid.
