Standing Strong with JJ

Thank you to everyone who made contributions to the initial GoFundMe campaign we launched earlier this year on April 27th, for JJ’s cancer treatment. As we can all imagine, a cancer diagnosis can be frightening and devastating; knowing there are people out there supporting you makes a huge difference. Your love and donations allowed him to make it through what we thought and hoped would be the complete cancer treatment. Unfortunately, it was just the beginning.

His medical team had anticipated he would be up and running within 3-4 months. JJ expected to be back at work already.

The reality is JJ's body needs more time to heal and rebuild. This has been tougher and more painful than initially anticipated and yet JJ's determination shines through. The medical team anticipates another 2-3 months to continue healing from that first round of chemotherapy and radiation. After that, additional scans will be taken to see if JJ is cancer-free (fingers crossed).

And that's why we're back. We are reaching out once again, asking for your kindness and generosity. Your financial support has been a beacon of hope, allowing JJ to focus on his health and recovery. Your positive thoughts, contributions, and prayers are an invaluable reminder that he is not alone.

There is a high probability that either another round of chemotherapy and radiation and/or the possibility of extremely invasive and extensive surgery will be required. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it…
