On the ice, Everleigh Mancini has always been a force to be reckoned with. Known for her smooth skating and tenacious "never quit" attitude, she’s a consummate team player who is loved by her teammates and the local hockey community.

Recently, Everleigh was sidelined by a formidable new opponent: Leukemia (AML). This diagnosis has temporarily taken Everleigh away from the sport she loves and the teammates that she calls family. Instead of training at the rink, she has begun intensive medical treatments and chemotherapy.

While the road to recovery is going to be long (4 + months), she is approaching this battle with the same grit and determination she shows every day on the ice. She isn’t just fighting to get healthy; she’s fighting to get back to the game that she loves most.

Off the ice, Everleigh is an amazing daughter to Stevie-Leah and Jon and big sister to Harlow and Poppy. She is also a beloved grand daughter, niece and cousin. Everleigh is an excellent student and an accomplished piano player. She is loved greatly by all of her family and friends.

There has been an incredible outpouring of support, with many wondering how to help Everleigh and her family. Stevie-Leah has stepped away from work to be by her side 24/7.
