Hi everyone,

My name is Julie and I’m reaching out with love and humility as my Cousin Shawna continues the fight against Triple Negative Breast Cancer, an aggressive form of breast cancer that has completely changed her life.

She has made it through the grueling months of chemotherapy, and now preparing for the next major step — surgery. It hasn’t been easy, but she is staying strong and hopeful, one day at a time.

One of the biggest parts of her life is running a small in-home daycare. Caring for children brings her so much joy and purpose, and she has continued doing her best for the families who count on her throughout treatment. But as surgery approaches, she'll need to temporarily close so she can focus on healing — and that loss of income has added to the pressure during this already difficult time.
