I was diagnosed with cervical cancer back in 2018. I had a complete and radical hysterectomy, having to remove everything possible and put into full-blown menopause at age 26. I was told it wasn’t a matter of if but when the cancer would appear next, but I didn’t look to that in the future as I had just loaded the precious gift of my 22 month son and giving up was not an option I had to consider in fight for my daughter.

Now, almost 8 years later, during routine bloodwork for all my cancer markers and physical pain, I tested positive for the cancer marker for my thyroid and Hashimoto’s disease. I had been having a hard time swallowing for a couple months and it felt like there was maybe like a goiter on my left side and that’s what prompted me to see my endocrinologist sooner than originally scheduled. She diagnosed me with Hashimoto’s disease and when she saw my symptoms and the extreme level of the thyroid immuno goblin therapy, it was vital to get scans for my thyroid and also to get a mammogram since it runs in my family. I was negative back after I was diagnosed, but now we’re rechecking it.

I've already gone through the worst possible thing in the entire world with losing my son before he even reached two years old. I don’t know what tomorrow will bring, but I do know that this is something else put before me that I will conquer. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. It hurts to swallow or do anything.
