Dear friends and community,

We are reaching out to you today on behalf of our dear friend Charia Dillard and her one-year-old son. They are currently displaced due to a devastating fire that has destroyed their home, belongings, and all that they have worked so hard to achieve.

Charia has faced many challenges in her life, including living with cerebral palsy, but she has always been a shining example of strength, perseverance, and resilience. Despite the many obstacles she has faced, she has never let them define her, and has always pushed forward with a positive attitude and a determination to succeed.

During the recent apartment fire, Charia and her son were forced to wait outside barefoot for five hours, as firefighters worked tirelessly to put out the flames. They lost everything they owned, including clothing, furniture, and sentimental possessions that can never be replaced. Now, they are facing the daunting task of starting over, finding a new home, and rebuilding their lives from scratch.

We are asking for your help in supporting Charia and her son during this difficult time. We have set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds to help cover their immediate needs, including shelter, clothing, food, and other essentials. Your donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in their lives and will be greatly appreciated.

Charia is an amazing person, and we know that she will use any funds raised to not only help herself and her son, but also to give back to her community in any way she can. She has always been a source of inspiration to those around her, and we know that with your help, she will continue to inspire and uplift those around her.
