October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this year it feels especially close to home. Our dear friend Stephanie has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. Many of you know that Stephanie is a very private person, but with love and encouragement, she has agreed to share her journey with us.

Stephanie is facing surgery soon, and in order to get the specialized care she needs, she will have to travel out of state. As you can imagine, this brings not only the emotional weight of fighting cancer, but also the financial strain of travel, hotels, meals, and time away from work.

Stephanie and her husband run their own small business, which means that when they’re away, their income is impacted. On top of medical bills, these additional expenses add up quickly.

We are starting this GoFundMe to ease the burden and allow them to focus on what truly matters, like healing and recovery. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Even $5 or $10 adds up when we come together as a community.
