❤️ Prayers for My Brother Joe ❤️

Yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, September 30th) my brother Joe was airlifted to Upstate Medical in Syracuse after a horrible accident where he was run over by his own truck. Joe had been working underneath on the shifter, thinking it would be a “quick fix,” but the truck unexpectedly shifted and rolled over him.

Joe has a long road of recovery ahead. The doctors have done a full head-to-toe exam, and most of his injuries are internal:

* Cracked liver and spleen, with blood pooling around both.

*Broken ribs and a collapsed lung on the left side.

*Severe cut on his arm (may require surgery).

*Road rash all over his back.

He’s currently unable to eat, but today he was finally approved for clear liquids. Joe is alert and speaking, but he is in a lot of pain. We’re still waiting on MRI results and more updates from his care team. He’s not out of the window yet, and we aren’t sure if further surgery will be required.
