I’ve created this GoFundMe on behalf of my little cousin, a devoted single mother whose 3-year-old son was recently diagnosed with DIPG, an incredibly rare and aggressive brain tumor that forms in the brainstem, the part of the brain that controls essential functions like breathing, heartbeat, and movement. Because of its location, DIPG cannot be removed through surgery, and treatment options are heartbreakingly limited.

No parent should ever have to hear those words, yet my cousin has faced them with unimaginable strength and love. Her only focus now is giving her little boy as much comfort, joy, and time as possible. This fundraiser will help cover not only overwhelming medical costs, but also her personal expenses so she can take time away from work and spend every precious moment by his side.

We know the road ahead will be hard, but we’re holding onto hope and we believe in the power of community to lift them up through this fight.
