Hello everyone, my name is DeeCee Spurgeon, and I’m reaching out for help during one of the most challenging times of my life.

On February 3, 2025, I was diagnosed with severe pulmonary embolisms in my lungs. The situation was critical, and I had to be airlifted from Gila Regional Hospital in Silver City, NM, to Las Palmas Hospital in El Paso, TX, for an emergency thrombectomy to remove the dangerous clots. This was not my first battle. I faced blood clots in my lungs just two years ago, and now I'm fighting this life-threatening condition once again.

The financial burden of emergency medical care, transportation, ongoing treatments, and recovery is overwhelming. Between medical bills, travel expenses, and the time I need to heal, I am struggling to keep up. I never imagined I would have to go through this twice, and I know I can’t do it alone.
