Standing Rock Medic &Healer Council

Many nations have come to stand together at Standing Rock over the past six months, and even harsher months are ahead this coming winter. On November 15, there were protests all over the US, a movement in solidarity with the Water Protectors in opposition of the Dakota Access Pipeline, which showed the Army Corps of Engineers and other policy-makers that this abuse will not be tolerated. The Dakota Access Pipeline route threatens the health of the largest watershed in the United States and violates the 1851 and 1868 treaties that ratify Sioux sovereignty.

Indigenous groups in North America have been routinely marginalized for over 200 years, their lands and livelihoods threatened, and enough is enough.

I will be traveling to Standing Rock to volunteer with the Medic and Healer Council this December, but want to be able to bring more than my service for the Council to use through the winter.

*To be clear this fund is not for my travel or personal supplies, but supplies to stock the clinic*

Money will go towards buying medical supplies and other items the clinic needs such as:

Fire Extinguishers
Radios

Apothecary Supplies
