Standing Rivers: Emergency relief for fires in Bolivia
We are Standing Rivers (Rios de Pie), a non-violence movement, that defends human and environmental rights in Bolivia. This campaign will support firefighters, communities, and animals affected by the forest fires in Bolivia in 2024. We aim to hire water tankers on the ground in Bolivia to bring water to national reserves and protected areas, as well as protective equipment, food, and medical and other resources needed by volunteer firefighters. Aid will be provided and allocated to different locations according to the acuteness of emergency on the ground as agreed by movement members and firefighters.
We will post updates weekly and upload receipts of all purchases.
