Hi, my name is Whitney, and I'm fundraising on behalf of my incredible friend, Jessica.

Just over a month ago, on June 8th, Jessica was hospitalized with a serious ovarian abscess that required emergency surgery and a week-long hospital stay with drainage tubes and IV antibiotics to help clear the infection from her abdomen. It was a painful and frightening ordeal, but she faced it with strength and resilience.

Just as she began to recover, she has been hit with even more devastating news. At a follow-up ultrasound this week, doctors discovered multiple small tumors on her left ovary and another large cyst on her right that were not there a month ago. They are meeting with her again next week to discuss treatment options, but the road ahead is looking uncertain and very overwhelming as she faces a plethora of unknowns.

Jessica is someone who meets life with quiet strength and a giving heart, but right now, she is overwhelmed. The emotional and physical toll of this journey is heavy, and so is the financial burden. With bills piling up and the stress of what lies ahead, she is sinking fast.

Jessica is one of the most caring, kind-hearted people I know — someone who shows up for others without hesitation. Right now, she needs us to show up for her.
