Our family’s world was turned upside down when Shellie, a mother of three, wife, daughter and sister, was suddenly diagnosed with leukemia. The news came without warning, and within days she was admitted to the hospital three hours from home to begin an intensive four-week chemotherapy treatment.

Shellie and BJ have always been a hardworking, two-income family providing for their children. But this diagnosis has changed everything. With Shellie in the hospital for weeks at a time, the family is now facing lost income, heavy travel costs, and medical bills they never expected.

We are setting up this fundraiser to raise $20,000 to help cover:

    •    $10,000 – Monthly living expenses while income is reduced

    •    $3,500 – Travel costs for hospital visits (3 hours each way)

    •    $4,000 – Hospital co-pays, prescriptions, and medical needs

    •    $2,500 – Support for the kids and unexpected emergencies
