On February 17th, Michelle went to urgent care believing she had a simple kidney infection. After a CT scan, doctors discovered a mass. With no MRI availability in New Mexico, we traveled to Phoenix the very next day for further testing. We were referred to the Mayo Clinic ER for in-depth evaluation, and she was admitted on February 19th for additional scans and bloodwork.
We spent six sleepless nights at Mayo Clinic as Michelle endured numerous tests, procedures, and long hours of waiting. On February 25th, we were released and flew back home on February 26th — praying for good news.
Instead, we received confirmation from Mayo Clinic that the mass tested positive for GI cancer.
Those words are heavy. But our faith is heavier.
We are now beginning the process of returning to Phoenix for continued testing, staging, and treatment planning. This journey will require multiple trips, time away from work, mounting medical bills, and the difficult decision to put Wow Wow on hold so we can focus fully on her treatment and recovery.
We believe God is our healer and our strength. We are trusting Him completely in this fight — while also embracing the blessing of community during this season.
We are raising $50,000 to help cover travel, lodging, medical expenses, and lost income as we walk this road toward healing.
If you feel led to give, we are deeply grateful. If you’re unable to give, we humbly ask for your prayers. We stand on Isaiah 41:10 — that He strengthens us, helps us, and upholds us with His righteous right hand.
Thank you for standing with our family in faith.
