Were coming together to support someone who has always been there for others. After proudly serving the United States Army, Steven Bartuska returned home and began his new chapter in his life. Like many veterans he carried his strength, and dedication into everything he did. He was always the one who kept us on our toes, shaking our heads, and giving us one hell of a laugh.
Recently that changed in a instant.
Steven was involved in a serious motorcycle accident, leaving him in critical condition. He has several broken ribs, a broken clavicle, a punctured lung that is filling with fluid, and a TBI. He is unable to breathe on his own, and trach may be in his future. He is fighting through these extensive injuries, while we remain hopeful, this road ahead will be long and uncertain.
Along side this emotional toll, the financial burden is growing quickly, from medical bills to everyday living expenses, and eventually the inpatient rehabilitation that he will need.
This is our chance to give back to someone that we love, to someone who gave to his country. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference. And if your unable to give, sharing this message can help reach others who can.
Lets stand by Steven, and remind him that he is not facing this fight alone.
