Dear friends and family,
We are reaching out during a profoundly difficult time for my grandma Sharron and Jerry Willett. After a long and courageous battle with a form of leukemia, Jerry is now facing kidney failure and congestive heart failure. His doctors have gently told us that his time left is very short—perhaps only days to a couple of weeks.
In light of this, Sharron and Jerry have made the difficult decision to stop treatments and enter hospice care, focusing on comfort and peace in Jerry’s final days. We are praying that a hospice bed opens soon so Jerry can be moved from the hospital into a facility where Sharron can stay by his side—just as she has lovingly done throughout this journey.
Jerry is a man who has served his country and lived his life with quiet strength and a deep love for his wife and Church family. As he prepares to go home to be with the Lord, we are leaning on our faith and trusting in God’s mercy to carry him gently through this final chapter.
This GoFundMe is to help ease the financial burden of hospice-related costs and the inevitable funeral expenses. Sharron has been a pillar of grace, and we know that God’s love will continue to sustain her—but no one should have to walk this path alone.
If you feel led to give, we are deeply grateful. If you’re unable to contribute financially, your prayers are just as powerful. We ask for continued prayer—for peace, for strength, and for a hospice bed to open so Jerry can spend his final days in comfort, with Sharron by his side.
Thank you for standing with our family in faith and love. Your support is a reflection of God’s goodness, and we are humbled by every act of kindness.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Kristina Hacker
