Standing by Pamela Martin: Travel and Meal Fund

Dearest friends and family, it is with heavy hearts that we share some difficult news. Our beloved grandmother is currently on life support in a Duluth hospital, bravely battling severe complications from a long and arduous fight with COPD. She touched many lives, especially children in our community, by being an aide at the LCO school for 20 years. As the cherished matriarch of our family, she is the heart that binds us together, a role she fulfills with endless love for her daughter, 5 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. We truly need her.

Since last Wednesday, we've been taking turns at her bedside, wanting to be there for every moment. The journey has been challenging, with half of us traveling from Eau Claire, WI and the rest from Hayward, WI. The distance is especially hard with our young children in tow. We are normally a very private family, so to put such personal information out there and to ask for help is not normal for us, but we are humbly asking for your support to help ease the financial burden of travel, meals, and accommodations during this incredibly emotional time. Being by her side means the world to us.
