Standing by My Mom Through Surgery & Recovery ❤️‍

My mom recently had major ankle surgery after a serious break and hasn’t been able to work since the end of March. She lives alone, doesn’t have any transportation, and is currently on unpaid FMLA with no income coming in. She’s completely out of vacation and sick leave and is trying to find financial assistance while recovering.

Her lease may end June 30th, so she either needs help covering rent or will have to move while still healing. She’s hoping to return to part-time work in late June and full-time work by July 1st, but her first full paycheck won’t arrive until July 20th—making June and July especially difficult.

She’s doing everything she can, even applying for remote jobs with no experience just to make ends meet. Until then, she needs help covering her rent and bills, at least $2,000 total to stay at her place, or move, and survive these next few weeks.

I wish I could cover these costs myself, but I’m not in a place financially to do that right now. That’s why I’m reaching out to ask for help and support.
