If you are reading this, we know you know Bindi and how special she is.
Although she would never let it slow her down, Bindi has had a number of health challenges. She has been to many vet appointments (both routine and emergency) to address chronic UTIs and has had many tests including: urinalysis, x-rays, a BRAF test and most recently an abdominal ultrasound which uncovered a mass in her bladder.
The BRAF test was negative and her chest x-ray was clear, which is hopeful given most tumors in the bladder are cancerous. However, in order to plan for the right treatment, she needs a cystoscopy of the mass in her bladder. Once a diagnosis is made, she may require surgery to remove the mass.
Bindi is only 8 years old and has such a zest for life. She loves to steal kisses and treats! She has brought us all so much joy in the couple years we’ve had the pleasure of cuddling, laughing and playing with her. We want to give Bindi every opportunity to live her life to the fullest. She’s our family and Mr. Buttercup’s best friend. Many have asked how to support so we’d like to begin by asking for prayers for our furbaby and the doctors who support her. The costs of tests have been adding up, but we experienced a sticker shock of $5,000 for the cystoscopy, not to mention whatever the treatment may be after.
Bindi means so much to us, and we’re determined to support her every step of the way. If you’re able, any contribution—no matter the size—will help us provide the care she deserves on this journey.
Bindi is only 8 years old, and she has such a strong connection with Mr. Buttercup. I really want to do all I can to battle this issue, and if you feel compelled to help, I would greatly appreciate it.
Since she has been in Mr. Buttercup's life and mine, we want to make sure that she is with us as long as possible.
