Our friend Dale has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer (glioblastoma). This heartbreaking news has shaken everyone who knows and loves him.

Dale and Laurie have always been the first to lend a hand—whether to friends, neighbors, colleagues or family. Now, it’s our turn to show up for the Brewsters.

Laurie has taken a leave from teaching, and their world is centered on making the most of their family’s time together. Their son Will is finishing university, and their daughter Taylor is preparing to represent Canada at the 2026 World Skills competition. These are moments of great pride, but also times of increased financial commitments.

As friends, we want to help ease that burden. Our hope is to cover everyday expenses and support Will and Taylor in their future pursuits, so the family can focus on what matters most—spending time together.
