Fight for Andrew

Please let me take a minute to introduce you to a man that I am proud calls me Dad. Andrew has never met a stranger. An excellent athlete at any sport and former Air Force, when you meet him, you feel like you've known him forever.

He has a love of family and an unbreakable bond with his two brothers and two sisters with a dream of someday having his own family.  He is a compassionate person with a special place in his heart for animals, especially dogs. He would never think twice before lending a helping hand. Andrew is the brother everyone wished they had and I know he will be an amazing father someday.

In the early evening of May 31st, Andrew was returning home from work to meet his girlfriend who was cooking him dinner.  He never made it.  Andrew lost control of his motorcycle on a curve which sent him head first into the curb. Although he was wearing his helmet, the impact resulted in severe head trauma and multiple fractures. Andrew's girlfriend did not find out what happened to him until she saw a post on facebook in the early hours of the next morning.

The brave first responders worked diligently on Andrew and he was in the ER within 8 minutes but the damage was so severe they did not think he would make it. Andrew was lifeflighted to the level 1 trauma center at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville where he remains in a coma suffering from his critical injuries. These tragic events has put his family, friends and all his loved ones in a state of shock which we are still unable to comprehend.

Even best case, there is a long road of healing ahead. He has multiple fractures in his face and his left side in unresponsive. There are so many costs involved which will need to be paid.
Short term,  Andrew will need funds to continue to pay his personal bills for months.
Long Term - he will have massive medical expenses to contend with while he is healing and unable to work.

Stand by us when we need you the most to help this young man with these impending expenses so he can have the chance he deserves to start his life and pursue his dreams.
