Hello, we are starting a fundraiser for our son Zair. As most of you are aware, we were hit with the devastating news that our son Zair has been diagnosed with craniosynostosis.

What is it? This unusual condition causes the baby's skull bones to close too soon, which interferes with the normal growth of the brain and skull. Closure of these sutures can result in asymmetrical facial bones and strain on the brain, among other factors. Zair must have major surgery to repair his skull as a consequence of this diagnosis. This will relieve pressure on his brain, give it room to develop, and reshape his face so that it is symmetrical.

We know many of you are wanting to show your support through this difficult time. So, we thought what better way than to create a page for the friends, family, and community to get behind them during the surgery and the 6–8-week recovery.

These donations will go towards medical expenses, accommodation or anything else needed by Zair and the family.

Hola, estamos iniciando una recaudación de fondos para nuestro hijo Zair. Como la mayoría de ustedes saben, recibimos la devastadora noticia de que a nuestro hijo Zair le han diagnosticado craneosinostosis.

¿Qué es? Esta condición inusual hace que los huesos del cráneo del bebé se cierren demasiado pronto, lo que interfiere con el crecimiento normal del cerebro y del cráneo.
