Support Yunis’s Recovery After a Tragic Act of Violence

On July 24, 2025, our beloved friend and colleague Yunis, a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), was brutally attacked by her ex-boyfriend in an act of unimaginable violence. Yunis was stabbed four times, suffering injuries to multiple internal organs, and had to be airlifted to Jackson Trauma Center in Miami in critical condition.

By the grace of God and the extraordinary efforts of her medical team, Yunis is now stable. But the truth is - her journey to full recovery is just beginning.

Yunis is one of the most selfless, caring, and resilient people you could ever meet. She has devoted her life to helping children with autism and special needs, providing unwavering support, love, and guidance to her clients and their families. Her gentle heart and fierce dedication have made her a light in the lives of so many.

Now, it’s our turn to be there for her.

Yunis faces not only a long physical and emotional recovery, but also enormous financial burdens. She will be out of work for an extended period, and is in urgent need of assistance to cover medical bills, rent, food, and other basic living expenses. She should be focused on healing—not worrying about how to keep a roof over her head.

Apoyemos la recuperación de Yunis tras un acto de violencia desgarrador

El día 24 de julio 2025, nuestra querida amiga y colega Yunis, una dedicada Técnica de Conducta Registrada (RBT), fue víctima de un brutal acto de violencia doméstica a manos de su exnovio. Yunis fue apuñalada cuatro veces, sufriendo lesiones graves en múltiples órganos internos, y tuvo que ser trasladada en helicóptero al Centro de Trauma del Hospital Jackson en Miami en estado crítico.

Gracias a Dios y al increíble equipo médico que la atendió, Yunis se encuentra ahora estable. Sin embargo, el camino hacia su recuperación será largo y desafiante.

Yunis es una mujer fuerte, generosa y profundamente comprometida con los demás. Ha dedicado su vida a trabajar con niños con autismo y necesidades especiales, brindando amor, apoyo y atención a quienes más lo necesitan. Su corazón bondadoso y su vocación la han convertido en una luz para muchas familias.

Hoy, Yunis necesita de nosotros.

Además de enfrentar una recuperación física y emocional muy difícil, Yunis también se enfrenta a grandes gastos médicos y de vida. Estará sin poder trabajar por un tiempo prolongado y necesita ayuda urgente para cubrir alquiler, comida, medicinas, cuentas médicas y otras necesidades básicas.
