Stand with Yazmin and Pam During This Crisis

Hello friends of Pamela Hansen Ullah. I am starting a go fund me page to help Pam and her family. My dear friend, whose 31 year old daughter Yasmin, is in ICU with liver complications.

Yasmin has been in and out of the Hospital 4 times with the last 3 months due to her ongoing complications. Recently, at the beginning of this week, Yasmin was brought back to the Emergency room where they re-admitted her to the ICU unit. Yasmin has been diagnosed with kidney and liver failure and fluid (ascites) accumulating in her abdomen. Doctors and staff in all departments are doing the best they know how at this moment.

On Thanksgiving day, Yasmin was transferred to the hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where the liver specialists and transplant team are. Pam stated that the hospital will be prepping for Yasmin to be put on a donor list for a liver transplant.

Upon arrival in Philadelphia however, it was discovered that Yasmin also has a severe case of pneumonia and is now intubated.

Pam is currently staying in Philadelphia by herself. As you may know, Pam doesn’t have a big family, her son in law Noel is Yazmin’s husband and will be joining Yazmin and Pam in Philadelphia soon. Pam's first daughter Amber, is currently at home with her son, cannot leave at this time. Pam’s sister Charlene is in Georgia.

As we ourselves know as mothers and fathers, our heart goes out to Pam. I cannot imagine the fear, loneliness and pain she must be going through, along with the overwhelming cost of a hotel stay and food.

I am asking for any help to assist in Pamela’s stay while in Philadelphia and close to her daughter Yasmin during this difficult time.
