Stand with Yasser, Amal, and Little Ahmed

Hello, my name is Ariel Collins and I’m starting this campaign for my dear friend Iman’s brother and sister in law. Please read her brother in law, Yasser’s words below. This is a young family with a young child and they have received very very little support. Please stand with them.

Hello, my name is Yasser and my wife is Amal. We have a little boy named Ahmed who is 3 and a half years old. We are besieged in Gaza (by land, sea, and air). I am 26 years old. Before this nightmare I was a fisherman and Amal was studying to be a nurse. I cannot even fish in the sea for food now as the occupation prevents it.

From time to time, my child suffers from skin rashes due to bacterial, fungal, and viral infections. On the other hand, insects such as flies, mosquitoes, and fleas are abundant due to the pollution of the waterways and the accumulation of garbage everywhere. Our situation was good before. Since the October 7th war, our dreams and schools have been shattered. We have survived bombing several times. Our situation is very difficult. Food prices are very high due to the closure of the crossings and the blockade of the Gaza Strip. We cannot buy anything and do not find enough food and drink. Now I need help with basic necessities to provide for the basics. Please help us. We are tired of insects such as flies, mosquitoes, and fleas due to the pollution of the waterways and the accumulation of garbage. Nothing is safe, nowhere is safe.
