Support for Willow and Her Family After Tragic Accident
On April 4, 2025, our dear friends from Speake, Alabama, experienced an unimaginable tragedy. Their youngest daughter, Willow, who has already shown incredible strength in her battle with childhood cancer, was in a horrific accident that has forever changed her life and the lives of her family.
She was airlifted to Birmingham, where she received emergency surgery. The journey ahead will be long and filled with emotional, physical, and financial challenges. As they focus on helping their daughter heal, her parents will be away from work, traveling back and forth from Speake to Birmingham, and managing the overwhelming expenses that come with a medical crisis.
This family has always been a light in our lives and our community—kind, strong, and deeply loved. Now, they need our help. Any amount you can give will go directly to helping with medical bills, travel expenses, and the many costs they will face in the coming months.
Please share, donate if you can, and keep Willow and her family in your prayers. Thank you for standing with them during this incredibly difficult time.
Update on Willow’s Journey – Prosthetic Fitting & Return to Work
We wanted to take a moment to thank everyone again for the continued love, support, and generosity you’ve shown Willow and our family. Your kindness has carried us through some incredibly difficult moments, and we are deeply grateful.
We have a big update: Willow will be receiving a prosthetic and will be fitted in the coming weeks. This is an important and hopeful step in her recovery, and we’re incredibly thankful that she’s come this far. That said, the financial reality is tough—insurance will only cover a small percentage of the cost, and we’re facing a significant out-of-pocket expense. Of course, we want what’s best for Willow, and this is something we simply can’t avoid.
In the midst of this, both parents are doing their best to get back on their feet. Travis has already returned to work, and Willow’s mom will be returning soon as well. They are working hard to balance everything while continuing to give Willow the care and support she needs during this time.
We know so many of you have already given so much, and we can’t thank you enough. If you’re able to share this update or contribute in any way, it would mean the world to us. Every bit helps as we take this next step forward.
