Stand with Will Against Leukemia

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Patti Reppert, and I’m reaching out with a mother’s heart full of hope and urgency.

My son, Will, is bravely facing cancer for the second time in his life. This time, he is battling two types of cancer.

As a child, Will was diagnosed with leukemia, and after a long and difficult journey, he entered remission. We were so thankful—hopeful that he would never have to endure that pain again. But now, as an adult, he has been diagnosed with leukemia once more, and this time, the challenges are even greater. In addition to the leukemia, he is also suffering from Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH).

Will is not only my son—he’s a loving husband and a devoted father. Now, he’s facing adult-onset leukemia, and it’s taken a tremendous toll on his health and his ability to provide for his family.

Doctors have told us that if Will does not receive a bone marrow transplant, his prognosis is grim—they are giving him less than three years to live.

Will is now undergoing testing and preparing for aggressive treatment, which may include chemotherapy, radiation, and hopefully, a bone marrow transplant—his only real chance at long-term survival.

What Is Adult Leukemia?
Leukemia is a cancer of the blood and bone marrow that severely impacts the body’s ability to fight infection and maintain healthy blood cells. In adults, it often progresses rapidly.

Common symptoms include:
• Persistent fatigue and weakness
• Frequent infections and fevers
• Easy bruising or bleeding
• Bone and joint pain
• Swollen lymph nodes
• Unexplained weight loss

What is Langerhans Cell histiocytosis (LCH)?
Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) is a rare disorder where the body produces too many Langerhans cells—immune cells that normally help fight infection. In LCH, these cells build up in the body and can damage tissues or form tumors, often affecting the bones, skin, lungs, and liver. Symptoms vary depending on the organs involved and may include bone pain, skin rashes, breathing problems, and neurological issues.

Will is experiencing many of these symptoms now, and the road ahead will be long and uncertain. But with the right treatment and support, there is hope.

Why We Need Your Help
Will’s priority is to get healthy so he can be here for his family. But without income during treatment, their family is struggling to cover medical costs, prescriptions, daily living expenses, and travel to specialists.

To make matters worse, government disability and Medicaid have both refused to help him. He is currently uninsured and has been denied re-entry into Medicaid, leaving him with no safety net during the fight of his life.

That’s why we are turning to you.

We are asking for support to help cover:
• Life-saving medical treatments
• Travel to cancer centers and specialists
• Rent, groceries, and household bills
• Care and support for his children during this time

Every donation—no matter how small—makes a real difference. Even just sharing this page or saying a prayer for Will helps lift us up.

Our family is fighting alongside him, but we cannot do it alone. Will has fought leukemia once. We believe he can beat it again—with your help.

We are so grateful for any support you can offer, and we will keep you updated on Will’s progress as he fights this battle with the same quiet strength he’s shown since he was a child.

With gratitude,
Will’s Mom
