Stand with Wendy in Her Health Battle

My name is Wendy and I have been dealing with seizures for the past two and a half years. This started November 2021 and I have been to several doctors and was admitted to the ER because I had no clue what was happening. I literally thought I was having a stroke. The medical staff did every possible thing to try to figure out what was wrong. My blood work, EKG, and MRI all came back normal. All of my doctors are quite baffled and have recommended that I see a neurologist. However, because of the unpredictable nature of my seizures, I had to stop working. When my seizures happen, I become very sensitive to sounds and movement. I can’t drive when I am experiencing them and sometimes they can last for up to two weeks. Needless to say, my life has been altered in a way that I never thought imaginable. There are days I sit and cry, but one thing that I have not given up on is my faith. I pray daily that God is going to heal me and get me the help and answers I so desperately need.

I have prayed for a while about whether or not to ask for help and I feel that God wants me to do this. I normally would not ask anyone for anything, but I am in need of help. I do not have medical insurance and I know that a neurology visit is going to be quite expensive. I also understand that everyone is having a difficult time financially right now, but if you can help in any way it would be greatly appreciated. If you can’t, I completely understand. If all you can offer is prayers, I promise you I would appreciate them!

Those of you that know me well know that this is an extremely difficult thing for me to share and to ask for help. Again, if you can’t help financially, it’s okay and I will understand. Please just keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I try to find some answers to this medical mystery of mine.
