Stand with Vivian: Facing Homelessness
Donation protected
For over 20 years, my sister Vivian Ann Begay has been a dedicated employee at Fleet Management for the Navajo Nation Government. She served her community with loyalty and pride. But now, her life has been turned upside down. After standing up for what is right, she is facing retaliation and being labeled as a whistleblower-a label that has come with devastating consequences.
She has lived in Navajo Nation Employee Housing for over 20 years and has been given until the 15th of January to vacate, leaving them at immediate risk of homelessness. Due to this urgent situation and her being denied grievances and extensions, I am appealing and requesting the community’s help. Funds raised through this GoFundMe will go directly toward renovation costs to her childhood home in Rock Point, AZ, so she and her family can have a safe place to live during this incredibly challenging time.
This home represents not just a shelter but a fresh start. It’s a place she can rebuild her life, surrounded by the love and support of her family and the Diné Nation.
Every contribution, big or small will make a huge difference. Together we can show her that her bravery and integrity are not in vain and her community stands with her in solidarity.
Ahéhee’ from the bottom of my heart for helping my sister and her family find hope and healing. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to us.
