With heavy hearts, we share the sad news that our dear friend and devoted ally of Ukraine, Professor Vitaly Chernetsky, has suffered a devastating loss — his partner, Thomas Kevin Robert, passed away suddenly.

Vitaly is a renowned Slavic studies scholar, an active member of our community, and a true friend of Ukraine. He has stood by us in times of need, and now it is our turn to support him in his grief.
