Stand with Valeri in Her Cancer Healing Journey

We are reaching out to our wonderful community on behalf of our dear friend Valeri Morningstar, who is now facing a health challenge and needs our prayers and support.

Last week, Val was diagnosed with stage 3 Ovarian Cancer, and she is currently navigating some major decisions about her plans for treatment.

Surgery and alternative protocols are likely options for her, but are still to be determined.

If you know Val, you will understand that she is meeting this diagnosis with the best attitude and highest spirits possible, despite all the unknowns she is facing.

Yet… the reality is that for her to take this time to undergo treatment and heal, she will need to find a way to meet all of her expenses and pay her bills, and this is one of the best ways we can help her now, in addition to sending her your love and prayers.

Three and a half years ago Val lost her beloved husband David, and became a widow, so she doesn’t have her partner by her side to support her through this health challenge. She also recently had to close her massage therapy practice due to injuries sustained from years of physical work, so she can no longer depend on the income that was her life’s career.

Val is one of those rare and beautiful spirits who felt a powerful calling to be of service to the world early in her career as a massage therapist.

In the past 40 years she has dedicated her life to helping others as a naturally gifted energy healer, massage therapist and teacher, working in residential treatment centers, spas, chiropractic offices and in her own private practice.

Val has particularly loved her own massage therapy practice because of the opportunity it has created for her to deepen her sharing and personal connection with clients. Her loving kindness and heart full approach to healing has made such a difference in so many people’s lives.

In true form, Val has been a role model in her ability and desire to “walk her talk”, and to heal herself as she supports others to heal.

Her spiritual journey has included 34 years of alcohol recovery and 34 years of service to the Lakota Red Road, as a sacred pipe carrier and Sundancer. She has poured water for sweat lodges and experienced 7 vision quests, willing to bring her highest good for the benefit of others.

Val has led women’s circles and has been both a student and teacher of “empowered communication”, always modeling an evolved and enlightened vision for the world which lifts everyone up.

Now it’s Val’s turn to receive all the love and support that she has offered so generously to countless people over the years. We’d love to see her through this healing process without extra added financial stress, so that she can pay her bills and meet all of her expenses.

We envision Val already healed~ thriving and surviving this Ovarian Cancer diagnosis, and able to return to sharing her wisdom with the world, and being the beautiful light that she is.
