My name is Joanna, and I am reaching out to you on behalf of my childhood friend, Jessica Ostrowski, who is seeking justice for her beloved son, Ethan. On July 28, 2023, Ethan tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident at just 19 years old. This heartbreaking event has left Jessica and her family shattered, and they are struggling to find answers and closure.

Despite their efforts, Jessica has encountered significant obstacles with local authorities, and attempts to get clarity and justice have been met with resistance and corruption. The Inkster Police Department, along with certain local officials, have failed to provide transparent and honest answers. They have also withheld crucial evidence, including video footage, audio of 911 calls, other call logs, and body cam recordings.

Jessica has already taken legal action and sued the Inkster Police Department and the city of Inkster to obtain the police report and partial case file. However, there is still vital information that they are withholding, leaving Jessica and her family with more questions than answers. Additionally, the mayor was caught in a lie via email with three state police sergeants, and State Senator Dayna Polehanki, despite her verbal promise to Jessica face-to-face, has refused to move Ethan’s case to the Michigan State Police Department.

This is why we are setting up this GoFundMe campaign. We need to hire a private investigator who can independently and thoroughly investigate the circumstances surrounding Ethan’s accident. The funds raised will go towards:

1. Private Investigator Fees: Hiring a qualified and experienced investigator to conduct a comprehensive review of the case.

2. Support for Awareness Campaigns: Continuing to raise awareness and garner public support for Ethan’s case through various campaigns, including the ‘Justice for Ethan’ T-shirts.

Ethan was a vibrant young man with a promising future, and his loss has deeply impacted Jessica, her family, and our community.
