Ayudemos a mi hermana en su lucha contra el cáncer

En enero de 2024, mi hermana fue diagnosticada con cáncer de mama triple positivo en estado 3B.

Gracias a Dios, a su fe, a un excelente equipo médico y al apoyo incondicional de sus seres queridos, ella ya ha finalizado su tratamiento, obteniendo hasta el dia de ahora, resultados exitosos, por la Gloria de Dios.

Ha enfrentado con valentía la quimioterapia, la cirugía y la radioterapia y estamos profundamente agradecidos por el progreso que ha logrado.

Ha sido increíblemente fuerte durante todo este proceso, y su fe y actitud positiva han sido claves para que su tratamiento marche bien. Su valentía nos ha inspirado a todos.

Pero el camino aún no ha terminado.

Debido a la etapa avanzada en la que se encontraba su cáncer, el riesgo de recurrencia es alto, y por ello se ha recomendado realizar una mastectomía profiláctica contralateral preventiva. Esta intervención no está cubierta por su seguro médico.

Como muchos saben, los gastos médicos asociados a esta enfermedad son exorbitantes, incluso contando con la valiosa cobertura del sistema de salud (ISSS) y un seguro médico privado, ambos fundamentales durante su tratamiento.

Por esta razón, estoy organizando esta campaña con el objetivo de recaudar fondos para cubrir el costo de esta cirugía preventiva. Cualquier contribución, por pequeña que sea, será de inmenso valor para nosotros. Si no puede donar, solo compartir este post sería de mucha ayuda para nosotros. Su ayuda no solo representa un apoyo económico, sino también un gesto de esperanza y solidaridad.

Let’s Help My Sister in Her Fight Against Cancer

In January 2024, my sister was diagnosed with stage 3B triple-positive breast cancer. Thanks to God, to a strong faith, a great medical team, and the unwavering support of loved ones, she has bravely gone through chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation. Today, she has completed her treatment successfully —and we are so thankful for the progress she's made.

She has been incredibly strong throughout this journey, and her faith and positive attitude have played a key role in how well her treatment has gone so far. Her courage has inspired all of us.

But the journey isn’t over yet.

Due to the advanced stage of her diagnosis, the risk of recurrence is high, and her doctors have recommended a preventive contralateral prophylactic mastectomy. Unfortunately, this procedure is not covered by her health insurance.

As many of you know, the medical expenses associated with cancer are overwhelming, even with the invaluable help of the government healthcare system support and private medical insurance, both of which have been essential throughout her treatment.
