Stand with Us: Fight Unjust Eviction

For 25 years, I worked and was a full-time wife and mother. I chose to stay home, raise our kids, and poured everything I had into building a life with the man I thought I could trust. We purchased our home in 2004 and have lived in it till today. While everything was in my name, he was the one who managed it all. I let him take control, trusting that he had our best interests at heart. He fraudulently transferred our home to a family member of his for a favor. With children at the time, my focus was my children, and whatever he did wasn’t even mentioned to me.

But after his deportation for violently physically assaulting me and my children, everything changed. The truth started to surface. Without fully realizing what was happening, I found myself a target from his entire family. Messages and threats of kicking me and my children out have been ongoing for years since his deportation. They took all the cars, leaving us with no car, no job, no help. I felt we were robbed of our lives and everything I've worked for. Now, as a 50-year-old mother, things are difficult and harder to start fresh with no support. Everything was strategically planned out to put me in this vulnerable situation to control and get away with his selfish destructions.

The same home that saw birthdays, holidays, hard winters without heat, and long summers without AC - we made it through all of that because of what I was able to do with the little he left me after the separation/deportation. And now, suddenly, he and his family want to act like landlords. They threaten, they harass, and they act like I’m a guest in the life I built.

I’m being forced out and need help to fight back legally - to reclaim the home I nurtured for my family and my partner decided to abandon. I never imagined I’d have to publicly ask for support, but I can’t do this on my own. If you can donate, share, or simply send your love, it means everything. Help me protect my son, pay for an attorney to help us from these unfair injustices, and fight for the home we never stopped calling ours. We have continued to build and keep my children safe, and most importantly, to feel safe. Now I’m finding myself homeless with nowhere to go. It is unfair and devastating.

I have to come up with $3,500 by Thursday for an attorney to be able to fight the case while I’m still home. The notice to vacate is 7/23/25. I have little time. Thank you and God Bless.
