May 1st used to be a date of celebration for us. However, our lives were changed forever on May 1st, 2025. Our sweet boy was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a childhood cancer. Our hearts are shattered as we wish we could take his place so he wouldn’t feel any sort of pain. Thankfully, as we sought help out of town, we have been blessed with a doctor who saw the signs, took action, identified the tumor, and started treating Dom once he met him. He will be handling this cancer aggressively. Dominic was admitted into the hospital immediately due to the gravity of the tumor and is now undergoing chemotherapy. We never thought this would be our destiny. We never expected having to pause life, working, our routines to be at our baby's bedside. We NEVER expected this heartache.

The road ahead is a long one, and anyone that knows me or Junior knows that we will suffer in silence before we ask for help, but we couldn’t have imagined being where we are today.
