Help Us Support Our Uncle After a Medical Emergency in the Dom. Rep

Dear friends, family, and kindhearted strangers,

We’re a group of nieces and nephews coming together for someone very dear to us: our uncle Manuel de Jesus, lovingly nicknamed Nano.

Our uncle has long battled a serious mental illness that has prevented him from being able to work or save for emergencies. Recently, he suffered an episode as well as multiple strokes and is now facing overwhelming medical and rehabilitation costs. On top of this, during his last psychiatric episode, he unintentionally caused severe damage to his home, leaving it barely livable.

Our family is doing everything we can to support him emotionally and physically, but we simply cannot cover the cost of his medical care and home repairs on our own. We’re humbly asking for help to raise $6,000 to:

• Cover his hospital bills

• Medications

• Help with repairs to make his home safe and livable again

Queridos amigos, familiares y personas de buen corazón:

Somos un grupo de sobrinas y sobrinos que nos hemos unido por alguien muy querido para nosotros: nuestro tío Manuel De Jesús, cariñosamente Nano.

Nuestro tío ha luchado durante mucho tiempo con una enfermedad mental grave que le ha impedido trabajar o ahorrar para emergencias. Recientemente, sufrió un episodio psiquiátrico además de varios derrames cerebrales, y ahora enfrenta costos médicos y de rehabilitación abrumadores. Además, durante su último episodio, causó sin querer graves daños a su hogar, dejándolo casi inhabitable.

Nuestra familia está haciendo todo lo posible para apoyarlo emocional y físicamente, pero simplemente no podemos cubrir por nuestra cuenta los gastos médicos y las reparaciones del hogar. Humildemente pedimos su ayuda para recaudar $6,000 para:

• Ayudar con reparaciones para que su hogar vuelva a ser seguro y habitable
