Support for Tym struggling with end stage kidney disease
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jennifer, and this is Tymothy. We have been married for 25 years and have two grown children. Tym was a CDL-B driver for the past 20+ years and is now unable to work. Financially we are struggling to make ends meet and the medical and household expenses are piling up. He has applied for Disability, but the minimal wait time is three months.
Tym was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease in February 2023. In January 2024 he started having problems getting through the work week. He was easily fatigued and started having problems with swelling/edema in his legs. Since then, his kidneys have continued to fail and was in the hospital 2/08/24-3/08/24, then again 5/29/24-06/06/24 where they diagnosed him as being in end-stage renal disease. He also has congestive heart failure and diabetes. He has been going to dialysis 3 x a week. The four-hour sessions wipe him out and he needs to be transported to the car in a wheelchair. It breaks my heart to see him this way. He is no longer able to work. As the breadwinner of our family, not being able to work has been devastating to him. He is on the transplant list, but we are told it could take years to find a suitable donor.
This account was created to help with medical and other expenses related to end-stage kidney failure and its crippling effects. We ask that you lift our family in prayer now, and if you feel compelled to help financially, every dollar helps. Thank you for taking the time to get to the end. God bless!
