On Tuesday, May 21, Tony was working around high-voltage electric equipment and came in contact with a 7200-volt power line. He was severely burnt on his neck, back, chest and left arm. He was life-flighted to the UMC Burn Center in Las Vegas and is currently recovering in the ICU, but will have a long recovery. Tony has served Garkane Energy Cooperative for almost 17 years as a Journeyman Lineman with the same enthusiasm and discipline he demonstrates in his day-to-day efforts as a loyal husband and father to his five kids.
