Stand with Tony and His Family

Hi everyone,

I’m writing this with a heavy but hopeful heart.

Many of you know my stepdad, Tony—and if you do, you know how much he means to our family. He’s been a strong, steady, loving presence in our lives. On May 31st, he went in for a liver transplant. Sadly, things didn’t go as planned. He had to undergo another emergency operation for a fasciotomy. Since then, he’s faced multiple complications, including kidney failure.

Right now, Tony is in an induced coma, fighting for his life.

In the midst of all this, my mom has been doing everything she can—managing and caring for my elderly grandmother, and navigating this medical crisis day by day. She is exhausted, overwhelmed, and grieving the sudden silence of her partner and best friend.

Many people have reached out to my mom asking how they can help—offering gift cards, meals, or other generous gifts. As her daughter, I wanted to create a way for others to step in and support her and Tony in a tangible way.

This GoFundMe is to help cover the unexpected and growing costs that come with extended hospital stays, surgeries, and recovery. If you feel led to give a gift, you can do so here.

My mom misses him deeply. We all do. And while we don’t know what tomorrow holds, we are holding on to faith, hope, and love.
