Our dad, Todd, is one of the strongest people we know. He’s the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back, who worked hard every day to provide for his family, and who always found a way to make people laugh even in tough times.

On August 28th, 2025, everything changed. He suffered a terrible accident that left him with a severe head injury. He was mercy flighted to Strong Hospital because he had a severe brain bleed. They had to perform emergency surgery by removing part of his skull to relieve the pressure, otherwise we would have lost him. He has been in the ICU ever since, hooked up to machines, unable to respond. Seeing him like that — our hero, our dad — is one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through.

Right now, we’re waiting on updates from his doctors. Once the numbers on his ventilator reach a certain point, they are going to remove it and possibly will be getting a trach. The uncertainty is overwhelming, and the road to recovery is going to be long and difficult. Our family is holding onto faith, but we all have jobs that we have to get back to, and time away from work is quickly adding up.

We’re creating this fundraiser because we don’t want our dad to fight this battle alone. Every donation will go toward travel expenses for our mom, hotel stays, his recovery, and giving him the chance to come back to us the way we know him — strong, funny, and full of life.

If you know our dad, you know how much he means to the people around him. If you don’t, just know that he’s the type of person worth fighting for.

Please, if you can, donate or share this page. Even the smallest contribution helps lift a little of the burden off our shoulders. And if nothing else, we ask that you keep our dad in your prayers.

Thank you for standing with us in this incredibly hard time.
